From the depths of softly contoured canyons to the rise of her incredible peaks offering awe-bundant vistas, Zion. 

Honestly, I have said SO much about Zion. To family, friends. Perfect strangers. In social media posts. Standing in line at the post office. Whenever. Wherever. So much so that when I finally sat down to write this post, I found myself with nothing to say. I know. A rarity. It does exist. 

But as I sat staring blankly at the screen for over an hour searching for the words, I decided to apply the greatest lesson Zion had imprinted upon my heart. Surrender. Surrender to a 5:30 wake-up call. Surrender to the unknown. Surrender to the possibility of flash floods. Surrender to not being prepared enough. Surrender to not knowing where you're stepping. Surrender to having to rely on intuition and impulse. Surrender to patience. Surrender to strength. Limitations. Grace. Humility. Community.
